Ok, so I've decided to talk about something that makes me quite angry; Jane Fonda being named one of the "100 Women of the Century." I guess we'll just overlook the fact that her actions directly caused the torture and possible death of a GI's held in Hanoi, a North Vietnam prison camp. The bigger insult is her "apology" this year about she "felt bad" about posing with VietKong forces. She emphasized she was NOT apologizing for the pain she caused upon the GI's being held. I personally agree with many people that Jane Fonda should instead be charged with treason against the United States; whether or not you agree with the Vietnam War is not an issue here. My reasoning for my opinion is this; she aided and abided the declared enemy of the US, such an action is described as treasonous. Likewise, she refused to divulge critical information (i.e. the location of said Prison Camps she visited, how many soldiers were being held, etc.) that possibly could have led to the rescue of the POW's rather than forcing them to endure horrible torture at the hands of the North Vietnamese. If you don't agree with me that such an act is treasonous, I at least ask you to realize how horrible her actions were.

Alfred Hitchcock
Your film will be 36% romantic, 37% comedy, 47% complex plot, and a $ 51 million budget.

One of the best film directors EVER to exist. Your life must be
something special if we're going to dig up Hitch to direct the film
version. His films are studies of masterful technique and visual
storytelling. He also has six distinct signatures he puts in each of
his films, one of them being his fleeting cameo walk-by appearance. I
think another one is that the leading man is always wrongly persecuted
for something he didn't do, and the leading lady is usually a blonde.
He made many more films than just The Birds and Psycho. PLEASE go rent,
buy, or view North By Northwest or Vertigo!

Here's my update that I supposedly promised you people :P Anyway, life hasn't been too bad lately. There's been some shitty things that happened, but can't complain too much. I'm now working as a Geek Squad Agent and getting paid quite well I might say. I like my new job, my co-workers are awesome. My car is still doing good, and all the nonsense with school appears to be hopefully panning out...oy. I'm ready to be done with college and move on let me tell you! The crappy thing that just recently happened was me pulling my stomach muscles while doing my Army PT test for my promotion to Sergeant, that blew! So, unfortunately I won't be getting my promotion until later than originally hoped, but it's not that bad. Umm...another cool thing! Next month and also in October I get to play with this!!

We're doing test firings in Sept to get used to it, and then myself and only 3 other guys from my Unit (out of 300 some soldiers I might add) get to do this. w00t!! We also have our standard weapons qualification next two months so I can finally get my damn Expert badges in M16 and my 9mm!! >:O Umm...other than that not much is going on in my world. Just work, Army, school...that's my life lol. Kinda boring sometimes, but oh well!

*Edit* Almost forgot to mention the really shitty thing that happened. My buddy Specialist Switzer was killed in Iraq on August 3, 2005 by an Iraqi sniper as he tried to carry a little girl out of a combat zone. He was shot in the back killing him almost instantly, as well as mortally wounding the 6 year old girl. He was a good soldier and a hero; he was posthumously awarded the Silver Star. He will be missed greatly among his peers and fellow soldiers. Rest in Peace soldier.

Last night was rather interesting. Started off watching the fireworks and drinking Redbull and Vodka. Then half the group wanted food, while the other half wanted to go party some more. Went to back to Timmy's place, the other two left so Timmy and I went over to his buddy's place. While there I tried to contact the other 4 to no avail. The party was fun, fireworks and whatnot. It was good until some jackass who nobody really knew started shooting roman candles at the people across the street. So, Timmy's friend told the guy to leave...and he started acting like an idiot and refused to leave. Tempers rose and the dude got punched in the face a few times, so I step in and put one of them in a choke-hold to calm things down. Things calmed down a little bit, and the guy left. He then comes back later and starts running his mouth again. Trying to be peace keeper I told the guy to leave or I'd physically escort him away. He started to walk away, and ran his mouth again...so then the guys start beating his ass again. I tackled one of them to started to chill things out, then the shit-talker's buddy runs over and tries to hit someone in the head with a beer bottle. That right there was over the line, so I grabbed his ass and put him in a choke-hold and didn't let him out until he passed out. Someone needed to chill things down and teach him a lesson in manners. After that the two of them finally left and didn't come back. It was a very interesting evening to say the least

As much as I love this country, America is no longer a "Democracy" it's falling to ruin. The rich and privileged are taking control by flaunting their money and power all over. It makes you wish these pompous bastards were striped of everything they own and shoved onto the streets with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Check out this link and you'll understand:

Lame

That right there makes me wonder what I'll be fighting for...

"It's what I was meant to do."

You are the true enigma. No one knows much about you, you do not understand much of yourself, and your life seems to carry no purpose. Yet regardless of everything around you - everyone knows that you are here for some reason, even if no one yet knows what that is. Things seem to simply fall into place for you. Almost as though some force is working either through you, for you, or around you. No matter your troubles, ou have been sent here to unlock something. This is your destiny.

'A new science (Dongonomy) was recently discovered by scientists Dr. Matthew D. Blackledge, Dr. Kent E. Andrews, and Dr. Matthew T. Little last week in Northern Indiana.
"We were surprised no one else figured it out, but then we realized... no one else has Infinite Wang, a Quasar Cock, or a Metadong. It was clear to us that we had to establish such a science." The Dongonomists explained. When we asked for further commentary, however, we were all Nagasaki'd like the bitches we are.'

I'm glad Terri Shiavo died, let the poor woman move on to whatever is next after this life. Whatever it is has to be better than laying in a brain dead state, unable to fully enjoy life because you're hospitalized with a feeding tube shoved down your throat. That's no way to live...and I think her parents were being incredibly selfish by forcing her to live. Oh, and all those people out there who fucking cried when she died...

Shut the fuck up.

Quit pretending like you cared about that woman.

Bourbon
Congratulations! You're 109 proof, with specific scores in beer (80) , wine (66), and liquor (69).

Screw all that namby-pamby chick stuff, you're going straight for the
bottle and a shot glass! It'll take more than a few shots of Wild
Turkey or 99 Bananas before you start seeing pink elephants. You know
how to handle your alcohol, and yourself at parties.

Mouse brought this to my attention this evening.
Funny and appalling at the sametime
I'm not sure whether to be appalled or to laugh. I'm thinking the first. It's funny in the basic sense, but unspoken message behind it is just wrong. I think it's something that might not be open to poke fun at just yet, especially since there are still people I know that are in the very real danger of being killed by a suicide bomber.
